Ribbon-wound coil (panckae) is with limitation of small slitting width of 7mm and up with standard sliting edging. If any special edging required, please refer to the edging service for more information.

As an alternative to the tradtional single coil "ribbon-wound" or said "pancake" form of steel strip, the Oscillated Wound Coil, the traverse wound spool" connects couples ribbon-wound coils into one big oscillated coil. NKS Steel can produce oscillated wound coil with up to 10 times the steel on a traditional ribbon wound coil. This enables you to run the equivalent of 10 coils, while only loading one; reducing machine downtime, coil handling, storage, and scrap. The steel stip width choices range from 8mm to 30mm.
